What About Bob?
Bob grew up in Saginaw, graduated from Arthur Hill High School in “68, went to Delta college and transferred to C.M.U. He finished his education at Arizona Tech in Phoenix.
He started his first rock and roll band in 9th grade and continued to perform in various groups, including country bands for about 16 years. He began his radio career in 1980 in the Phoenix market, eventually doing evenings at KZZP before moving back to mid-Michigan in 1984. WIOG was his next radio home for four years in the mid-day slot. Bob was the original “Party Lizard”, having created the lizard concept in 1985. He left WIOG in March of ’88 to do mornings for two years at WHNN. When the station changed the format to “oldies” in 1990, it was back to mid-days for Bob where he’s been ever since.
The “At Work Party” is just that… a party on the radio to help erase the drudgery of your workday! The most fun part of Bob’s mid-day show is the “Classic Café” …a chance for listeners to have fun with Bob on the air with their requests and the “Lunchtime Trivia” game show! Bob has been a “fixture on Mid-Michigan radio for 22 years and is still going strong with consistently high ratings during his 20+ years with WHNN!
